Peter Bond is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with extensive experience in practice leadership, business advisory, and supporting local businesses across Northern Ireland. He is focused on growing his practice and delivering practical, reliable support that helps businesses operate with clarity and confidence.

Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2008, following a degree in Management and Accountancy from the University of Huddersfield in 2003. He has continued to build on his expertise through specialist qualifications, achieving a Distinction in Forensic Accountancy in 2010 and a Distinction in Corporate Finance in 2023. He is also a Certified Xero Advisor, strengthening his ability to support clients through modern cloud accounting solutions.

In 2019, PMB was recognised with the Business Development Award at the Ards Business Awards, highlighting Peter’s contribution to business growth and client success.

Having moved to Northern Ireland in 2005, he has lived in Comber ever since and remains actively involved in the local business and community network. His professional connections include Chartered Accountants Ireland, Business Network International (BNI), The Boardroom Network, Comber Chamber of Commerce, Newtownards Chamber of Commerce, North Down Hockey Club, and North Down Cricket Club.

Outside of work, Peter has a strong interest in strategy and tabletop gaming, including Warhammer 40,000, Dungeons & Dragons, and board games, and is a supporter of Derby County.

Briony plays a key role in the day-to-day management of PMB Accountants, supporting both the team and our clients with a proactive, people-focused approach. As trainee-chartered accountant, she combines strong technical knowledge with a genuine passion for helping businesses and colleagues thrive.

Her professional journey has seen her achieve both the Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma with Accounting Technicians Ireland in Financial Accounting, Tax, Accounting Systems, and Management Accounting, earning her MIATI membership. Briony is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Level 2 Xero Professional, with additional expertise in payroll and migrating businesses onto cloud accounting systems such as Xero.

Alongside her professional ambitions, she loves to spend as much downtime as possible in Donegal.

A self-declared people person, Briony enjoys building strong relationships with clients and leading the PMB team in a supportive and collaborative way. Outside of work, she has a love for food, music, theatre, and reading, and can often be found with a book in hand whenever she gets a spare moment. A keen rugby supporter, she enjoys watching her son play and proudly supports Ireland during the Six Nations — usually with a pint of Guinness close by.

Before beginning her career in accountancy, Briony was a musician and achieved Grade 8 in Classical Singing — something that still shines through today, with plenty of whistling, humming, and singing around the office. Briony excels in communication and enjoys building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

I aim to grow my skills with accounting software and develop strong client relationships. The goal is to help as many businesses as I can with my knowledge in bookkeeping and Xero to give business owners peace of mind on their performance. Outside of work I am committed to personal growth through fitness setting challenges in the gym.

Achievements: I dedicated 2 years to studying bookkeeping outside of a full-time job with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers where I achieved my level 2 and level 3 qualifications in bookkeeping and accounts. I started PMB in January 2025 where I have been able to apply this knowledge and grow as a finance professional.

Interests: I love strength training in the gym in my spare time or winding down to watch a new TV show. I have recently got my fiancé, and I hooked on a board game called wingspan that we all play in the office on our lunch break, I am still yet to win a game! I have a passion for music which led me to go to university and study commercial music productions and events management. Most people don’t believe that when I tell them what I do now!

Skills: I am skilled in bookkeeping and account management with proficiency in accounting software Xero. I have strong attention to detail, organisation and clear communication with clients ensuring accurate and reliable financial records.

As a Trainee Accountant at PMB Accountants, Joss is continuing to build a strong career within the profession while supporting clients with their accounts and financial records. Having achieved a BSc (Hons) Degree in Accountancy with specialisms from Ulster University, he has already successfully completed his Chartered Accountancy Proficiency 1 examinations and is now working towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.

Ambitious and committed to continuous development, Joss enjoys gaining hands-on experience within practice and helping clients better understand their finances. Alongside his professional goals of qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, becoming a homeowner is also firmly on the horizon.

Outside of work, Joss is a keen supporter of Ulster Rugby and has also represented PMB Accountants at BNI, building relationships and connections within the local business community.

And perhaps most uniquely of all — they proudly claim the title of “hedgehog whisperer,” bringing plenty of personality and humour to the PMB team.

Megan is a trainee accountant and Xero Advisor with a strong foundation in payroll processing, cloud accounting, and business support. She combines hands-on technical experience with a clear commitment to ongoing professional development within the accounting field.

She has achieved Xero Advisor certification and completed training in BrightPay and cloud payroll services.. These achievements reflect her developing expertise in financial systems, analytical thinking, and accurate, detail-focused work practices.

Megan is currently working towards the ACCA professional accounting qualifications, with a focus on strengthening both her technical capabilities and interpersonal communication skills. She demonstrates a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement, with a clear interest in building a long-term career in accounting and finance.

Her key strengths include business knowledge, critical thinking, data analysis, and time management, all of which support her ability to contribute effectively in structured and fast-paced environments.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys horse riding and travelling, interests that reflect her discipline, curiosity, and appreciation for new experiences.

Lucy is an Accounting Technician, supporting clients with their bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and day-to-day financial processes. With a strong academic background, including a Master’s degree in Accounting, Lucy brings a thoughtful and detail-focused approach to her work.

She enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a team to help clients feel confident and supported in their finances. Resilient, organised, and approachable, Lucy is passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and experience within the accountancy profession, with the long-term ambition of one day owning her own accountancy firm.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys shopping, cooking, and keeping active at the gym. She also has a creative side, having achieved Grade 5 in Piano and Grade 8 in Speech and Drama, alongside completing both her Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

Natalie is a Payroll and Xero Technician. She is a Certified ATI Level 4 Accounts Technician. She also graduated with a Mathematics degree from Liverpool John Moores University in 2012.

In her free time, she enjoys watching football and rugby games, being a supporter of Liverpool football team and the Ireland national rugby team. She also enjoys a good hard game of sudoku, currently trying to beat her personal best of 10 minutes on the daily New York Times puzzle.

In the future she would like to continue her studies and become a qualified accountant.

Jonathan is an Accounting Software Support Administrator, supporting clients with Bookkeeping, Xero support queries.

Jonathan has an Accounting Technician Ireland Qualification. I aim to achieve deeper understanding of the software we use a PMB to able to answer any questions Clients may have.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my Labrador, exploring new places, hiking & Watching Ulster Rugby.

Charis is often the first friendly face clients see when they visit PMB Accountants. As our Front of House Receptionist & Administrator, she plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly and making sure clients feel welcomed and looked after from the moment they get in touch.

Organised, reliable, and always ready for a challenge, Charis enjoys the variety that comes with supporting both the team and our clients each day. She stays calm under pressure, manages multiple tasks with ease, and always brings a positive attitude — along with a bit of craic — to the office.

Outside of work, Charis is a huge Formula 1 fan and loves travelling whenever she gets the chance. She’s passionate about supporting local businesses, enjoys catching up with people over a good coffee, and is a proud owner of her dream car — a Suzuki Jimny. At home, she also spends plenty of time with her much-loved Labradoodle.
